Are you interested in organizing and participating in direct action against forms of social, political, economic, and ecological oppression?

Would you like to shape the political activities of your union?

Do you want to get involved and make a difference at Queen’s University and within the greater Kingston community?

If you answered YES to any of these questions then the PSAC 901 Political Action Committee is the place for you.

The Political Action Committee works to organize, facilitate, and participate in political activism for the betterment of everyone. This work is done through movement building within the Queen’s student body, faculty, and staff, as well by building relationships and alliances with other community, labour, and activist groups across Canada and beyond. We focus primarily on organizing around issues directly affecting our membership, but we also use our power and resources in coordination with our allies and partners to build solidarity and help them meet their goals.

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the main focus of the Political Action Committee will be the continuation and escalation of the Tuition Abolishment movement that kicked off in January of 2023. However, we will have plenty of opportunities to work on various projects. We look forward to hearing your ideas and working with YOU to make this committee reflect the interests of its membership.
Any member in good standing may join the Political Action Committee. The Political Action Committee is chaired by the VP Community Relations.

If you are interested in participating in the Political Action Committee, please email the VP Community Relations, Levi Duhaime, at vpc.psac901@gmail.com.”
